I was raised in the sleepy suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, though it may be more accurate to say she grew up in Oz and came of age in Middle-earth.
By day, I am the marketing director for Random House’s sci-fi/fantasy imprint, Del Rey Books. By night, I am an author.
In my free time, I enjoy furtively sniffing books at used bookstores and winning at obscure board games. Her favorite mode of transportation is the library.

Hiya! I hang out on Etsy and Zappos like it’s my job, but I’m not a professional shopper, so it’s not actually myjob. That’s at Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, where I read like a fiend and market books for kids and teens.
I write YA too, whenever I’m not hanging out with my uber-cute puppy. Or eating. Or watching Gilmore Girls and indie tearjerkers on Netflix.
